Eze Ndigbo, Amuwo-Odofin tasks Oba juries on fair judgement

Oba: The Eze Ndigbo of Amuwo-Odofin, Lagos, Eze Dr. Anthony Chigbo Elui has called on the Juries in the new ultra- modern Oba Chief Magistrate Court commissioned today by His Lordship, Hon Justice Ijem Onwuamaegbu, the Acting Chief Judge of Anambra State to discharge their duties with equity and promptness.

Eze Dr Elui who spoke to Daily Telegraph in an interview said that it would be a credit to the judiciary in the state if cases are tried promptly, and with fairness, saying that the hope of the common man is the judiciary.

His words, "This is one of the greatest achievements we have made in Oba, and I am very happy to be part of this victory. With this, our people will no longer go to far places like Ogidi, Awka, Nnobi, etc, for court cases, and this will also boost the community's economy.

I thank the state government, my people of  Oba for making our dream a reality, while I advise our people, especially the youths to eschew crime and violence as they are the two things that will drag them to court", he stated.

In attendance include, the CEO of Rojenny Resort Village, Chief Romanus EzeOnwuka (Ogirisi Igbo), Eze Ndigbo in Amuwo-Odofin, legal practitioners, the Oba Regent, Prince Noel Ezenwa, and others.
